The lipid profile of tallow very closely resembles that of the human skin, which makes the skin very receptive to the essential vitamins A, D, E and K that tallow provides. The form of vitamin A found in tallow is retinol, which is the most bio-available form of vitamin A; this means that your skin can immediately use all its collagen stimulating benefits without having to convert it into a more usable form. Jojoba oil serves as the perfect partner to tallow as it mimics the texture of human sebum. Since the lipid profile of tallow also closely resembles that of the human skin, tallow and jojoba oil work together in harmony to restore balance to the skin barrier by reducing both excess oil and dryness. Whipped vs. Plain:

Simply put, whipped tallow is tallow that has been whipped. It has a melted marshmallow fluff consistency and is much lighter on the skin, ideal for those whose skin is on the oily side. Plain tallow has a balm-like consistency, and is denser, ideal for deep moisturising (for those on the dryer skin side). Both melt into the skin and from men to babies, this is the perfect balm for your whole body. On the baby side, it works wonderfully to massage your baby with. Otherwise the variation is offered simply for preference of choice.
