The name “Kinfolk” is an older way of saying “family”, the concept that mirrors what is most dear to our hearts. Most of what we do is motivated by our family and we are constantly learning and expanding our capacity to live life to the fullest as family.

We are Erhard and Emily Theart, currently residing in Cape Town in the little town where we both grew up. We are raising three little humans, and are blessed to have all our boxes regarding parenting and everything that comes with it challenged as we grow with them.

We love nature and aim to be outside as much as possible. Simple, holistic living is very important to us and we deeply value incorporating ancestral principles into our modern lives; being students to the wisdom found in ancient ways and not over complicating health and wellness.
